Flagpole-Memorial
We are trying to raise money to put a 30 ‘ flagpole and Veterans Memorial at our Village Hall and Office similar to the picture below, which is Taos, we would not have the brick work, but the stone on the left we already have, and it will be moved when the Veterans Memorial is placed, the flagpole would be in the middle, of course with lighting,
This came up at a Village meeting because we do not have a flagpole, and we decided at the meeting rather than spend money for this, at this time we would ask the local businesses, community members and supporters of our many Veterans for donations.
We were able to build the Hall & Office without spending money, it was done with Grant money, therefore we will try to collect enough money through donations to do this without spending any Village money on this project.
This project estimated cost is approximately $10,000.00, again any donation amount will be much appreciated. We will have an account completely separate from any Village money at MidAmerica Bank, here in Wardsville where you can make your donation for this project. We would like to have the donations completed by the end of May, so that we can have this for our 4th of July celebration for our 250th Birthday!!!!
